ABOUT

WHO WE ARE

We design, build, test, and race a solar-powered car. Everything is done in-house. Our students machine the parts, lay the carbon fiber, wire the electronics, and drive the car.

OUR GOALS

Our goal has been the same since 2023. Build a car that can cross a continent on sunlight. We want to prove what UW students can do with nothing but a shop, a deadline, and the sun. Every year is a chance to build something faster, lighter, and more efficient than the last.

THE TEAM

MECHANICAL

Designs, machines, and assembles the car. Chassis, suspension, aero body, and composites.

ELECTRICAL

Designs the high and low voltage systems. Solders, codes, and wires everything that moves.

TELEMETRY AND STRATEGY

Builds the data system and the race plan. Decides how fast we can afford to go.

BUISNESS AND OUTREACH

Secures the partnerships, grants, and in-kind donations that fund the build.
